Few, if any titles garner the global respect or have the prestige of News UK's flagship titles. Setting standards in journalism since 1788, 'the paper of record' takes its responsibility to keep the world informed very seriously.

Know your times

Brexit

The days following one of the most important political votes in British history, were, I think it's safe to say, confusing. I thought 'shite show' was more fitting, but the editorial team disagreed.

Not only were those who'd voted to stay confused, those who'd voted to leave were too. But the 'Most Confused Award' definitely went to the government.

Luckily, the experts at The Times and The Sunday Times were prepared, and able to guide their readers. Just like the journos, we reacted as the stories unfolded to create ads that would comment on the coming content. From our in-paper, to online, and digital outdoor sites across the UK, it became award-winning stuff.

THE SUNDAY TIMES
MOVIE SEASON

Hey you guys.

I really love movies

''IMDB made flesh', 'a ginger Mark Kermode' and 'the reincarnation of Barry Norman', these are just some of the names no one calls me

Of course, everyone loves the movies, but I'm a freak. I can remember the tiniest details from the past 60 years of cinema.
If I could give this brain power a useful cause I could probably be the world's greatest brain surgeon or something like that. But I can't. So I'm not,

Instead, I take nothing briefs with no budget for a movie season and make them a fun and memorable promotion using £1 worth of blue tac. After all, Goonies never say 'die'.

Upping the fun

While I've never fancied being a journalist, as a storyteller I couldn't pass up on the opportunity to do an editorial piece.

As part of the Movie Season I reported on the events that took place in the Pixar movie 'Up', as if they really happened.
I then pushed for it to be put in the Travel Section of the paper. And they obliged. Boom.

I doubt Kate Adie is shitting herself, but it was a fun and fitting thing to do as part of the summer season of events the paper was hosting.

The App List

A tip off

There are 100 apps for this. 200 apps for that. 300 for this. And 300 apps for that also. Most of them are crapp. Ha ha! See what I did there?

Anyway, The Sunday Times decided to to do the hard work for people like you and I, by creating a definitive list of the best apps.

Just make sure you're in good shape for swiping - you're looking a little flabby around the middle phalanx.
