To mark their 125th Anniversary, Mercedes-Benz commissioned a movie to showcase and celebrate their rich history of groundbreaking technological achievements.
This required extensive planning, research and cross-European agency communication to write and direct this extensive showpiece.

From the first car to their current vehicles and cars of the future, plus motorsport heritage, Mercedes-Benz have transcended as a motor company, becoming an icon
of the modern age. 

Just to warn you, the video is about six minutes long... in case you want to make a cup
of tea or go to the bathroom before you begin.

As part of the celebrations, I was involved in designing and creating a 125! Years exhibition at Mercedes-Benz World at Brooklands. From the first vehicles, to the iconic gullwing, F1, plus weird and wonderful customisations there were many stories to be told.

Virtual Vs. Reality

The launch of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG excited car enthusiasts the world over. But the £167k price tag was too spicy for the average punter.

 

So, we invited gamers to take on Mercedes' very own David Coulthard at the Top Gear test track. David would be in a real SLS-AMG, while lucky plucky contenders would buckle into their Gran Turismo 5 simulators a few miles up the road at Mercedes-Benz World.

 

With a trip to Interlagos to join Mercedes F1 at the Brazilian Grand Prix up for grabs the competition was fierce. But who would win this battle of Virtual vs. Reality?
